elephant

i recently made an elephant sitting in clouds for a girl at work.  it was for her friend that had a baby...she paid me for it and everything!!  what a big deal!  and the funny part was i kinds felt bad taking the money. i know i shouldnt and should take this sale and try to show my stuff more and sell it....  i only have one picture of this elephant and it's on the other computer...... as soon as i get a few pictures of it i will post it up....

oh the entire reason i came on here today was to post my plan for a blanket...i found out about this babette blanket the other day and i fell in love.......granny squares here i come.

extreme

we were called extreme this week about our "greenness" if you will.  i dont think we are extreme.  no paper products in the house except tp and tissues, recycling and organic food where we can, gdiapers.....not extreme to me just being careful with resources and what we consume.....but we are consumers nonetheless.   cloth napkins and dish towels work just as well as as their paper cousins.    oh well

ok winter go away...it is time for spring.

yoga

kaya does yoga.  down dog.  she goes over to the mat says yoga? i have to roll the mat out and then she does her down dog, although lately she has been just busting out down dog all over the place.  we were in massachusetts for a few days while kev was in colorado, searching for jobs, and she did yoga at all the houses we went to.  it is nice to see her more comfortable in a new place. now that she can run and do yoga there is no stopping her exploring!
